Derby Porcelain Cotton Stem Painter Spectacle Plate C.1760

Pretty early Derby porcelain ''spectacle'' plate with decorative moulded edge and applied yellow daisy flowers with puce centres. The centre is painted in enamels in the style of the ''cotton-stem'' painter in puce, orange, yellow and green on purple stems. Red-brown enamelled rim.
 
It measures 18.3cm (7 1/4'') wide and 2.5cm (1'') high.
 
In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration and only very minor handling wear.
