S/unit Bankt/28oct24/1400/a Rare Gilt Bronze French Clock, Napoleon Signing The Treaties Of Tilsit.

There were two agreements signed by Napoleon in the town of Tilsit in July 1807, in the aftermath of his victory at Friedland.
 
The first was signed on 7 July, between Emperor Alexander I of Russia and Napoleon I of France.The gilt bronze relief under depicts Napoleon at the Battle of Friedland. Very well cast.
 
Signed on the dial “Rolletfy of Paris”.
 
Circa 1830. 8 day movement with outside countwheel striking on a bell, the hours and on the half hours.
 
Measurements: 48cm high x 35cm wide x 13cm depth.
