Pair of African Antique Benches with Loose Tapestry Cushion

An attractive and neatly proportioned pair of West African hardwood antique benches. The antique benches have slatted backrests, with shaped open arms. The Ghanaian antique benches have fist shaped terminals to the back corner supports, and elephant head shaped terminals to the front supports. The pair of benches have solid seats, with a loose tapestry style cushion. Raised on four square legs. A rather unique pair of benches.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related scratches to the front, arms, legs and backrest (pictured), also some shrinkage to the seat panels (pictured). The pair of antique benches remain structurally solid and sound. Overall, a very interesting pair of antique benches.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
