Antique Silver Plated Table Lamp German Made C1880

Description

This is a smart antique silver plated table lamp. Formed as a large chamber stick. Standing on a circular pedestal base with a round tray above. Waisted in the middle supporting a round bowl. This bowl is applied with floral swags to ribbons and bows with realistic rams heads placed at either side. Attached is a curved handle decorated with a scroll and an acanthus leaf. Wreath mounted below an original etched glass shade. This will need a qualified electrician to rewire and fit a bulb holder to meet current safety standards. This is sold in original condition with some wear to the plating. c.1880 German made.

Height: 29.5 cm (11.5")

Width including handle: 22 cm (8.75")
