A superb quality set of ten Chippendale chairs in mahogany with leather seats

The chairs are stamped by Shoolbred & Co

James Shoolbred was established in the 1820 at Tottenham Court Road, London.

Shoolbred was granted a Royal Warrant by the 1880’s

James Shoolbred didn’t survive the financial crisis on 1920’s and ceased trading in 1931.

This set dated to around the 1890’s and a typical of the this Company’s craftsmanship
