Description

A very decorative antique Japanese four-fold screen. Each hand-painted panel having a different oriental scene with raised three dimensional effect and each bearing a signature. The surrounds in red lacquer with gilded floral decoration. The frames having raised carved foliage and topped with carved birds in flight. The back having red lacquer panels with foliage and bird decoration, the whole raised on steel casters. Condition- very good and original. Dimensions:- Height…60’’/ 152.5cm. Width…76.5’’/ 194.5. Depth Closed…4’’/ 10.2cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £50.
