1903 Waltham Traveler pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The gilt movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 13,095,742 which dates it back to 1903. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Star model, originally guaranteed to wear 25 years, and it was made by the Birmingham based case maker Dennison. Dennisons made most of the cases for Waltham UK.

The case is in lovely condition and the engine turned detail to the case back is still nice and crisp.

The glass lens has light marking, nothing too serious.

The signed dial has its original blued steel hands, a sunken subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There are a couple of faint hairline cracks to the dial but they are difficult to see with the naked eye.

The watch comes with a single chain, 32cm long including the T-bar and clasp.

The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
