Antique Oak Dresser Base

A well-presented early 20th century antique oak dresser base. The antique oak dresser base has a moulded edge top, with an arrangement of four fitted drawers, each with aesthetic style brass handles. Below the drawers is a double cupboard to the centre flanked by two single door cupboards. The double cupboard opens to reveal a spacious interior with a single shelf to the middle. The cupboard to the left hand side opens to reveal two sliding tray drawers, and the right hand side cupboard opens to reveal a large box drawer with a shelf above. The antique oak dresser base is raised on a plinth base. Decorative carved detailing throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and fading to the top (pictured), further marks and scratches to the front and sides. There are losses to the back, however this doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the product. The antique oak dresser base remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a good example of a decorative antique sideboard.
