Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The press consists of 2 panel doors enclosing a large cupboard with 3 linen sides, over these there are 2 short drawers and below one long drawer, we have 2 keys for this piece and most of the locks are working
The painted decoration is very old and has a faded quality, there is a little wear around the edges and on the top but no more than would be expected on a piece of this age
The press is a heavy piece but it comes into 2 for transportation it is 55” tall, 49” wide and 21” deep
