Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
It is always a pleasure to find a clock that has been cherished and cared for throughout it's life.

The 8 day movement strikes the half-hour and the hour. Most importantly it strikes on a steel rod (as opposed to a coiled gong) giving a very crisp, resonating tone. It has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee.

The 7", off-white dial has black Roman numerals with interspaced red fluer-de-lis and nicely cut black hands. It is clearly signed with the Gustav Becker logo, as is the movement. Complete with original key.
All dimensions include finials.
The mahogany case retains it's original french-polished finish with a wonderful, age related patina.
A real little gem.
