The catch is firm and when pushed opens the case revealing a superb interior lined in powder blue moire silk, with the pockets either side being able to hold a modern day business card and even a credit card.

This case doubles as an aide memoir with the reusable bone tablet in the centre with a fitted silver propelling pencil.
The back covering is where the signature can be found embossed into the taffeta " Giraudon, 18 Rue De La Paix, Paris ".
Excellent condition, measuring 4" x 2 3/4" while closed.
