Description

A very good quality French red tortoise shell and engraved brass mantel clock in the Louis XV style with scrolling inlaid foliate design throughout and pendulum viewing window to the front of the case. The clock is adorned with scrolling bronze gilt mounts and has a brass cartouche dial with white enamel Roman numerals and a French eight day movement which strikes the hours and half hours a gong.
