Description

An impressive and very well made antique inlaid mahogany bookcase. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1920’s period.

The quality is excellent and this is a very useful size, not too wide and imposing, yet offering lots of storage space. The upper glazed section contains two removable and adjustable shelves. There are three generous drawers in the lower central section and additional shelving in the lower side cabinets. The mahogany has a beautiful colour tone and has lovely inlaid satinwood borders.

The condition is excellent for its age, we have just had this re-polished. There are just a few old minor marks here and there remaining beneath the polish. The top section is screwed to the base and can be removed for ease of transport.
