Description

A beautiful silver and tortoise shell jewellery box. Made in London in 1913 by Williams Comyns. The box has very intricate silver filigree inset into the tortoise shell and purple silk in the base. The box and lid have silver hallmarks and the top edge has a cast rim. It is in very good condition with no cracks to the tortoise shell top. A very collectable and useable piece of iconic silver.
