A George V Silver Advertising Vesta Case, Mappin & Webb 1913

Description

A very rare George V silver advertising Vesta. Made in Sheffield in 1913 by Mappin & Webb. It has a blue enamel padlock shaped panel "A MATCH FOR ALL, WORMALD'S LOCKS". There is a full set of hallmarks on the interior rim and part marks on the lid. It is in very good condition except a tiny hole in the side which does not go all the way through. A very scarce and collectable vesta.
