Superb Japanese Meiji (19thC) lacquered three-tier stationery box made from lovely grained wood. The cover depicts a shepherd lying down and looking at the silver moon. Measures 22cm x 15cm x 8cm.
The lid is warped but otherwise the box is in perfect condition.
