Impressive Pair of French Belle Epoque Bronze and Gilt Table Lamps

Description

A fabulous pair of French Belle Epoque bronze and gilt table lamps with baluster shaped bodies featuring a spiral gadroon design adorned with superb quality female bronze figures each with serpents coiled around their wrists holding out a branch. The lamp bodies have deep scrolling rococo style foliate design with bulrushes in relief terminating to rouge griotte marble serpentine shaped and moulded bases.

The lamps have been rewired and are in full working order and come with 45cm wide new dupion silk scalloped shaped lampshades in the colour oyster.
