Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Flanking the shelves are 4 pigeon hole cubbies above 2 locking cupboards with gothic arch shaped & Mahogany cross-banded doors. The doors have fan inlays which match the pediment and cupboards are complete with 1 shelf inside.

The base features a 2 plank top with a simple moulded edge above 3 deep oak lined drawers with dovetailed construction and swan neck brass dropper handles. The front of the drawers feature Mahogany cross-banding with 4 corner shell inlays per drawer. The drawers all lock with their original key and are complete with brass keyhole escutcheons. The base incorporates a rounded and fretworked bottom stretcher to 4 elegantly shaped Queen Anne legs of good proportion and strength.

This dresser has a lovely lightly faded original Medium Oak colour with lots of patina and its original French polished finish.
This very usable well proportioned dresser is ideal for large hallways, dining rooms, country kitchens or would complement a large cottage.

We have sympathetically restored this item maintaining original patina by carefully waxing it to preserve the finish and give it a lovely natural sheen.
Please note; This item is in fantastic condition for its age as shown by the photographs below. Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches and dents, however, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm, character and provenance.
