An antique Edwardian sterling silver and glass claret jug which has a bulbous shaped intaglio cut glass body depicting flowers and leaves and rests on a flat star cut base. It has a plain silver mount, a hinged lid with an interesting thumb piece and an angular shaped handle which is comfortable to hold. This fine silver claret jug would make an ideal addition to a collection, would be perfect to use and would hold a full bottle of wine.

Width (from handle to spout): 13 cms (5.1'')
Diameter of body: 10.7 cms (4.2'')
It was hallmarked in Birmingham for 1907 by William Aitken and remains in excellent condition.
