Description

A very unusual and rare silver enamel fish brooch by Norwegian silversmith David Anderson.

Wonderful colours.

Marked to back with the early mark that was used from 1888 to 1925, so have dated this piece circa 1925. Early clasp to reverse.

It is in great condition with no enamel missing, however, there is surface wear commensurate with age and use. Please study the pictures the most wear can be seen in the last photograph on the bottom rhs.

Have not been able to find this particular design of fish.
