Description

This exquisite and rare pair of Game bird related Novelty silver menu holders or place card holders bears the marks the Adie Bothers and is dated Birmingham 1925. The circular mounts inset with a pique tortoiseshell disc decorated with birds. Raised on a fully hallmarked circular stand.

Hallmarks:

A BROS Ltd for the Adie Brothers.

Date letters "A" for 1925

Lion Passant.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Condition:

Very good.

One of the legs of the partridge might have had some loss.

Dimensions:

Diameter: 3cm / 112 inches.

Height: 3.5cm / 1.2 inches.
