Antique Edwardian Mahogany Leather Top Pedestal Desk C1900

Antique Edwardian Mahogany Leather Topped with Serpentine shaped Desk and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany it has leather embossed skiver set within a cross banded edge and with a gadrooned edge to the top. Above a central drawer and to each pedestal there are three graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined with original brass handles and working keys. It is raised on squared tapering legs on brass castors. A super quality desk.

To the side of the desk is a baker lite butlers bell….an interesting addition which we decided to leave in situ

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
