Art Deco 2.16 Carat Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, Circa 1935

1920 - 1940
Description

A beautiful vintage diamond cluster ring. The old European cut diamond in the centre – weighing approximately 0.85 carat – is impressively white and lively. The centre is surrounded by eight old mine cut diamonds of graduating sizes, with the larger stones towards the ‘top’ and ‘bottom’ of the cluster, giving the cluster a slight oval shape. A further six diamonds (three each side) are set in the slim and tapering platinum shoulders.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30310227).

Cut – Old European cut diamond in the centre with old mine cut diamonds in the surround. The diamonds in the shoulders are old mine cuts and eight-cuts.

Colour – H in the centre, with F to I in the surround and F to H in the shoulders.

Clarity – SI1 in the centre, VS2 to SI1 in the surround, SI1 to SI2 in the shoulders.

Carat – The centre stone is approximately 0.85 carat, with a further approximate 1.18 carat in the surround and a further approximate 0.13 carat in the shoulders

Circa – 1935.

Size – H 1/2 (UK) or 4 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The head of the ring is 14.75 x 12mm. Sits 6.9mm from the finger.

Metal – Platinum. Tested.
