Silver Helvetia Half Hunter Pocket Watch

Silver Helvetia half hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement, identified as by Helvetia, and it is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a little unevenness.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 935 silver (so slightly purer than sterling silver) and there are Continental hallmarks inside the three outer covers.

The front of the case has enamel filled numbers surrounding a small central lens. The back has a central vacant cartouche. Both front and back have engine turned detail.

There are a couple of very minor indentations to the front of the watch, the back has some unevenness.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is a glass lens which is in lovely condition.

The dial is also in very nice condition with blued steel hands including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
