Large Antique Stick Barometer

19th century
Description

A magnificent large quality antique mercury stick barometer by Ross of London.

The oak case with a well carved pediment and turned finals. The dial having the original twin vernier scale adjuster with weather predictions from 27 to 31 and set behind bevel edged glass and original adjustment knobs below.

The mercury thermometer also encased with bevelled edge glass. Twin dials with weather predictions and 27 to 31.

The barometer retains its original carved oak cistern cover, all in lovely condition.

Dimensions:- Height…45’’/ 114cm. Width…8.75’’/ 19.5cm. Depth…4’’/ 10cm.
