Scroll Arm Desk Chair C.1830

19th century
Description

William IV mahogany open armchair or desk chair c.1830. Back rest featuring a broad shaped and curved top rail over a beautifully carved and pierced stretcher. Gracefully scrolling arms on turned supports, removable seat pad freshly reupholstered in a woven damask fabric. Raised on fine turned and reeded front legs with turned roundels at the tops and ball finial feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
