The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1960s.
Gents Omega Seamaster De Ville wrist watch, 1966.
The watch has 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 611, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 23,301,884 dates it back to 1966.
The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs.
It also has the Seamaster logo and the case reference 136.019 which is correct for the calibre 611 Seamaster De Ville. Omega signed winding crown.

The back of the watch states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.
The lens has the tiny clear Omega logo to the centre. There is a little knock to the bottom edge of the lens but not too detrimental. Other than that, the lens is in good condition.

The dial is in lovely original condition with original hands, seconds sweep and a date display, initially set by repeatedly turning the hands backwards and forwards between midnight and 9pm until you reach the desired date.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in an Omega presentation box (later in date than the watch).
