Antique Georgian Style Mahogany Serpentine Fronted Chest on Chest

1900 - 1920
Description

A beautiful antique mahogany serpentine fronted chest on chest, made in England & dating from around the 1910 period.

It is a great size and offers lots of storage space. The mahogany has a gorgeous colour and lovely grain patterns. The drawers are all graduated in depth & have original brass handles. This chest has reeded canted corners & sits on bracket feet. It also has a brushing slide that pulls out in the middle.

This chest is very fine quality, with solid timbers on the back & drawer bottoms. The drawers are also finely dovetailed.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age. This comes apart in two pieces for ease of transport.

Depth – 19 inches , 49 cm
