Description

A truly stylish English photograph frame with a solid Oak backing incorporating a hinged two-way easel stand, allowing the frame to be used in either a portrait or landscape configuration; always highly sought-after.

The front is made from solid English Sterling silver beautifully decorated with an engine-turned design. The silver is fully hallmarked for London 1914 together with the makers mark for Albert Cohen & Charles Soloman - Cohen & Charles; the firm Cohen & Charles was established in 1890 at 11 Thavies Inn, Holborn, London.

Excellent condition with an overall size of 6 1/2" x 5" x 1" with a glazed aperture measuring 5 1/4" x 3 3/4".
