Antique Edwardian Inlaid Satin Wood Card Table

1900 - 1920
Description

A wonderful antique Edwardian card table, beautifully made from satin wood. This was made in England, it dates from around 1900-1910.

The quality is excellent, this is very well made and has a very elegant design. The satin wood has stunning colour tones and grain patterns, with inlay around the top and sides. This is beautifully finished on the back so can be free standing, the top swivels and opens to reveal a green baize playing surface. There is also a small storage space beneath the top.

We have recently had this re-polished and the green baize is new, the condition is excellent for its age.

I believe the shape & size of the playing surface is ideal for Bridge players.

Depth – 19 inches , 49 cm

Height – 30 inches , 76 cm
