Description

A pair of late 19thc French ormolu gilt metal curtain tie backs c1880. Designed so that the bar at the back of the loose lozenge will hang from a wall hook, the tie backs can hang loose when the curtains are drawn, or will swivel to hold the curtains in place when pulled back. Decorative and useful, even for long heavy curtains.
