The cylinder top opens to reveal a fitted interior consisting of six pigeon holes flanked by six drawers, above a pull out slide with a number of leather writing surfaces. Two of the writing surfaces are adjustable and reveal secret compartments when opened. The antique cylinder desk sits on two pedestals, each with three drawers, raised on castors. Comes apart in three sections for ease of transport. A rather pleasing example, with a rich colour throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related patina and scratches to the top, sides and front (pictured), further marks, patina and stains to the interior (pictured). The leather writing surfaces also have age-related patina and minor losses (pictured), however this doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the desk. There are also minor losses to some of the drawer knobs (pictured). The antique oak cylinder desk remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Comes apart in three sections for ease of transport. Overall, a good example of its kind.
