A straightforward late georgian mahogany sidetable; with solid polished timber top and scratch round moulding to the edge. Brass hinged, the leaf opens up to reveal flame mahogany top that sits 4 people. Oak lined dovetailed drawer to the side with period swan neck handle. One hinged leg as per photo, stood on 4 tapering leg. Functional piece of furniture with general usage wear. Bought privately.

They feature symmetrical, classical proportions, clean lines, and were often designed as dual-purpose furniture functioning as narrow wall tables when closed and tea or gaming tables when open.
