Description

A magnificent antique Georgian period ribbed barrel back armchair in leather. This was made in England & we would date it from around the 1790-1810 period.

This is an incredibly fine example, the quality is superb and it is very comfortable. The fluted back wraps around in a barrel shape, the frame has hand tacked studs and sits on beautifully turned mahogany legs.

The leather upholstery is in beautiful condition with just the right amount of patina. You can feel the crisp horse hair under the leather. We have had the leather revived and hand coloured by our leather restorer, this is in great overall condition, with just some minor age related surface wear.
