This pair of Victorian floral marquetry walnut pier cabinets were made circa 1870.

The cabinets with arched glass doors with one that opens to the left and the other that opens to the right, making them a correct pair. The doors open for you to gain access to the velvet lined interior fitted a shelf.

Having cast gilt brass mounts applied to the front sides and plinth.

Lovely panels of floral marquetry to the doors and further inlaid panels on the frieze and stiles, with birds holding a sprig of flowers and foliage.
