Sheraton Rosewood Games Table Circa 1790

18th century
Description

Attractive Sheraton veneered rosewood lift top games table with satinwood crossbanded top. The top opens to reveal chess board. Fitted mahogany lined drawer to side and pull out tray to front. Raised on square tapered legs with brass socket casters and united with cross stretcher. Boxwood line inlay to legs and frieze. All in fine condition with few veneer repairs. Great golden honey colour with fine waxed patina.

Size; 29" high, 19" wide, 15" deep.
