Description

This exquisite Art Deco silver and lemon yellow guilloche enamel jar is dated Birmingham 1935. It bears the marks of the reputed silversmiths Charles S. Green & Co. The pale yellow guilloche enamel lid with solid silver baluster finial. It is fitted on a clear glass body exquisitely engraved with flowers. The top with a sliced-cut everted notch rim.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "K" for 1935.

Coronation mark.

Condition:

Good

Enamel lid in good condition.

Very minor discolouration at a couple of places where the enamel meets the silver border, barely noticeable and mentioned for accuracy and as illustrated.

Glass in perfect condition. No chips or cracks.
