Lincoln Restorations has dated this Georgian Copper Tea Kettle to the 19th Century.
The kettle is made with excellent quality and craftsmanship shown evidently in the brazed join to the rear of the kettles main copper body.

This simple but elegant kettle features a removable 'bee hive' lid with a shaped solid brass knob as the handle. The kettle has a swan neck braze jointed spout, however, the neck has a historic repair being soldered at some stage as shown. Curved brass brackets support the copper handle which is riveted to the body. This kettle looks amazing with its beautiful highly polished copper finish perfect for any period home or even as a stand out piece in a contemporary theme. We have sympathetically restored this item by highly polishing the copper and brass maintaining original metal patina.

Please note this item is in very good condition for its age but will have the odd blemish here and there, as expected with an item of this age. However, we feel that these points are which adds to the charm of the item with it being an antique.
