This pair of Victorian mahogany easy chairs were made circa 1885.

The deep seats and squared back were very much in keeping with the fashionable Howard designs that were totally upholstered, these having the decorative mahogany frame with carving at the centre of the backs.

The padded open arms with the swept arms that join the well-turned front legs.

The legs to the rear are very unusual with the extra detail at the bottom above its castors.

They have been upholstered in the last 5 years and are ready to use. It will be easy to recover into your choice of fabric.
