Description

Gents 1950s Avia wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is the correct calibre but a slightly better 17 jewel version, originally it had the 15 jewel movement as stipulated on the dial.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is chrome plated while the signed screw-on case back is stainless steel. There is some wear to the plate, mainly to the back of the watch.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition with original hands, a seconds sweep and inner minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in an Avia De Luxe presentation box.
