Rare Elkington Miniature Silver Plated Travelling Communion Jug & Platter

1900 - 1920
Description

A rare miniature travelling holy communion jug and dish. Made by respected manufacturer Elkington & Co and dating to c1900. Marked to the front for 'IHS' and a cross. A wonderful tactile silver plated set.

The condition of the jug is good with no splits or dents and only slight signs of age related wear. The dish has a slight ripple to the rim and has a couple of marks.

Total weight approx 200g.

Jug - height approx 12cm. Span approx 7cm. Base diameter 5.5cm.

Dish - diameter approx 7.5cm.
