1920'S Art Deco Burr Walnut Armchair

Description

A beautiful and very rare original Art Deco period armchair in walnut. This was made in England, it dates from the 1920-30’s.

The quality is outstanding, this was most likely made by Epstein. The back has stunning burr walnut grain patterns on both sides, and also on top of the armrests. This would be great in various settings around the home as an accent chair or even as a desk chair.

We have had the frame stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, and the seat has been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is superb for its age.

Depth – 53 cm , 21 inches

Height – 84 cm , 33 inches

Seat height – 50 cm , 20 inches
