The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The movement, which is signed with the Helvetia name, has a patent shock absorber.

The watch measures 22mm wide excluding the winding crown and 32mm high excluding the lugs. Although originally designed as a man’s watch, it is small by today’s standards so it would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is chrome plated. There is general light surface marking to the front and sides, and wear to the back.

The convex lens is in good condition.
The dial is in its original finish, it has light marking but overall is in good condition for such an early piece. Original Breguet style hands.
The watch has a handsome vintage leather strap.
The watch will come in a new presentation box.
