Description

A superb pair of original Art Deco period armchairs in satin birch. We brought these over from Sweden, however, we believe they were made in Finland, and they date from the 1920-30’s period.

The quality is outstanding, they are an impressive size and are very comfortable. The frames are well sprung and sturdy, the backs have lovely little winged sides. The arms and base are beautifully made from satin wood which wraps around the frames nicely.

We have had the wood stripped and re-polished, and these have been fully re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is superb for their age.
