Description

Handsome little early 19th.c. mahogany side cabinet c.1830. Just 36" wide. Solid mahogany top with a crossbanded edge over a two door cupboard fitted with a single shelf inside (depth 14½"). Note how the reeded pilasters are part of the doors allowing them to open 180 degrees and fold flat. Simple uncluttered design with minimal decoration save for the matching flame mahogany veneers to the door fronts. Solid mahogany groundwork and sides. Raised on turned bun feet front and rear. Some minor old marks, generally very good condition with attractive mellow colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
