Superb Early Georgian Walnut Bureau

Description

Superb early Georgian walnut bureau with wonderful colour and patina. Crossbanded and featherbanded fall opening to reveal a beautiful stepped interior, with secret drawers and a gilt tooled leather. Unusual frieze drawer below, over two short and two long featherbanded drawers with cockbeading, fitted with fret brass handles. Raised on original bracket feet.
