Victorian Rosewood, Tunbridge Ward Miniature Tea Caddy.
 
A extraordinary Victorian rosewood miniature tea caddy (probably an apprentice piece) dating back to c.1870. The miniature features beautiful tunbridge wars mosaic inlay to the top and right the way around the box.
 
Open the tea caddy to reveal twin rosewood lids featuring bone knobs and the original paper interior with a working lock and key.
 
The box sits on four little bone feet.
 
Superb quality and condition measuring 10 x 6.5 and stands 7cm high.
