Antique Inlaid Black Forest Occasional Table

This Beautiful late 19th century, Swiss Antique Black Forest Occasional Table dates from ca. 1880 and has been made from Walnut with fine Marquetry inlays. The top has spectacular Stag and Deer inlay around an Amboyna background; it has shaped moulded edge and carved frieze. This fine Victorian table sits above a central turned pedestal with tripod splayed carved legs. The top can tilt with the original mechanism and the Walnut has aged to a warm golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
