Campaign Military Chest of Drawers

Description

A good quality mid 19th century mahogany officers campaign/military chest of drawers. It is brass bound, in two parts, has excellent storage space with good deep second drawer down originally made for ceremonial hats. It has the original Hobson lever locks and key, chestnut drawer linings with fine dovetail joints and stands on turned detachable feet. A decorative and very practical piece with good small proportions.

This chest would pair up very well with our other mahogany one which is virtually identical and must have come from the same company,

stock no. 8318 which could be Allen or Day.
