Beautiful Edwardian Sterling Silver Ring Box for Four Rings by William Hutton

Description

A really delightful oval English sterling silver ring box with a highly decorative domed lid with an almost Art Nouveau feel, incorporating flowers and foliage and stylised scrolls surrounding an oval vacant cartouche.

The hinged lid fits well and once opened reveals a fitted interior to accommodate four rings.

There are good clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1904, a true antique example. The makers marks is also present for the well regarded and highly collectible William Hutton & Sons Ltd.

Excellent condition, measuring 4" x 1 3/4" deep x 1 1/4" tall.
